About Joanna Palma

I was born and raised in the bay area, I am a very family-oriented person being a first-generation daughter has put pressure on me that I thought I would not be able to survive but over time I was able to overcome so many obstacles and create a path for myself, which lead me to get my bachelors in Business Management. I've learned to be a help to others around me whether it's my friend's siblings or my own family members, being able to be someone's resource makes me really happy because I always wished I had one while navigating the world in school. Having to figure out my way around and looking for resources in school, has helped me become a great communicator with others, having to reach out to people for help was not always the easiest thing for me to do but I quickly learned I would have to talk to others to get the help I needed to reach my goals. Being able to find the help I needed has helped me become the strong leader I am today, communicating with people has become my strongest skill, as well as taking initiative and helping those around me.
