Having left the world of television behind I have now joined St Monica Trust, starting off as a bank Administrator, which gave me experience in the HR, Marketing, Sales and Admissions departments. Then joined their Care at Home service team as Operations Administrator for a six month period. This is a job-share post and the role is the first point of contact for enquiries into the registered office. Staff rostering duties, general day to day maintenance of IT systems, purchasing and general administration fall into the duties of this post. Having completed that period I am back as a Bank Administrator and available to fulfil multiple administrative roles. My final role in television was as Head of Operations at Plimsoll Productions. The company focuses on making factual entertainment and wildlife programmes. I was responsible for the smooth running of all the operational aspects of the company.I spent many years at the BBC, taking advantage of all the professional training opportunities offered at the time and progressed from creating listeners schedules at BBC World Service, through to giving production assistance at BBC Radio 3 and BBC Television both in London and Bristol and onward as a freelance Production Manager and Company Manager for companies such as RDF, Scorer Associates, Quickfire, Real Radio and Television, Antedote and Company Manager of the Masterclass Media Foundation.Specialities: Strong customer care, thrifty management of budgets, organisational skills.
