About Joanna Seczkowski

I began working in the heritage sector which quickly took me to community development and progressed into diverse projects in regional and remote locations. I have had a mix of community engagement, senior management, projects, governance and grants roles. The thread through it all is being a ‘joining the dots’ person, bringing together varied information together necessary for quality program management. After working in a number of challenging but marvelous Australian locations I later adapted my skills to a post war developing country context. To work as a volunteer for 18 months for the then AusAID program was liberating but I returned to paid positions, although with international NGOs for a few years. I returned to Australia in 2012 and back to Queensland in 2016.
