About Joanna Simpson

I am an experienced adult and popular educator with a proven track record in workshop design, writing, coaching, and facilitation. I am known among colleagues for having strong social justice principles and a collaborative approach to projects. I have a gift for designing creative, quality workshops that move people to action. As a facilitator, my strength is creating inclusive learning spaces where people's experiences are valued and participants are supported to exchange diverse perspectives on difficult issues. In my 20 years as an educator, I have designed and facilitated strategic planning sessions, staff meetings, policy meetings, committee meetings, and workshops on a wide range of topics. My specialties include-Anti-oppression training -Leadership workshops -Workshops for union stewards I currently work as an Education Officer with the Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada.
