About Joanna Williams

Over two decades I’ve worked across business strategy, organisational leadership and psychological practice, sitting in boardrooms, classrooms and therapy rooms. My career began in senior strategic and marketing roles before evolving into psychotherapy, executive coaching and organisational culture consultancy. Today I lead Beneath the Surface Psychology & Wellbeing, partnering with CEOs, HR Directors and leadership teams across sectors to navigate change, build inclusive cultures and develop the human capability behind sustainable performance. I also run a private psychotherapy and counselling practice. My passion lies in applying this cross-sector experience to create systemic, human-centred change.I believe we need leaders and systems that understand both the strategic and psychological dimensions of impact.
