About Joanne Ahern

I enjoy working on the communication, dissemination and exploitation of innovative and socially relevant European research projects. I am passionate about exploring and addressing the challenges and opportunities of the digital transformation in different domains and contexts. I am always eager to learn new skills and tools, and love working with diverse and multidisciplinary teams.Currently I am a research communication specialist at Trust-IT Services, a company that provides strategic communication and digital innovation services for research and innovation projects in Europe and beyond. My core competencies include research dissemination, communications, event organisation, webinar and training delivery, data analysis and visualisation, analytical skills, and interdisciplinary research. I have a joint PhD in Social Science from the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna and the Gran Sasso Science Institute in Italy. I also have two master's degrees in urban and regional planning and cities from the University of Westminster and King's College London, respectively.
