About Joanne Crosetti

I work in Non-profit Development and am currently managing a team of 3 other development professionals who work together to raise operating support for Turtle Bay Exploration Park in Northern California. Turtle Bay is a unique 300-acre interdisciplinary museum complex, featuring an art, history & science museum; a forestry & wildlife center; and a 20-acre Arboretum and Botanical Garden. Our mission is to “inspire wonder, exploration, and appreciation of our world." I lead a team that is responsible for growing generosity by sharing our enthusiasm for Turtle Bay and demonstrating the important benefits it provides for our rural community. Our goal is to turn that enthusiasm into monetary support from individuals and businesses who share our mission and vision for a prosperous Northern California. The old success model is to become financially successful and then become a philanthropist. The new model is to have a ‘Give as you go’ philosophy built into your business structure.
