Background

About Joanne Headlam

I’m the Founder of Etica Consulting, an independent consultancy that provides accessible and sustainable expert advice for for-purpose organisations, large and small. After working in financial executive roles in large corporate organisations, I made the move to the non-profit space in 2012. I view my role in financial strategy and leadership as the guardian of best practice systems and frameworks for-purpose organisations, and the champion of innovative, sustainable, and easy-to-understand (and implement) solutions. I help solve real problems so for-purpose organisations can focus on what matters. I take the time to understand the values, vision and viewpoints underpinning for-purpose organisations, and think outside-the-box to find sustainable solutions to both age-old and modern problems. Uncertainty and challenge is par for the course for for-purpose organisations, but I firmly believe that’s an opportunity, not a barrier, for innovation and effecting meaningful positive change. I’m also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD). Please feel free to connect or reach out – I’m always happy to chat with people doing good things out in the world!
