Background
About Joanne Matthews
I am a graduate of Primary Education, a native English speaker from the UK and I am TESOL qualified with over 20 years of teaching experience in the classroom and online. I have worked with young children, teaching them how to read, write and how to pronounce words that are grammatically correct in the English language, this has included many ESL learners. Educating children has always been my passion from a very young age. I feel that I have a natural affinity with children, and this has enhanced my ability to relate to them and make teaching fun and engaging. I have experience in teaching 2 - 10 year old’s. I love working with children and enjoy seeing them progress week after week. I am a very friendly, organised and enthusiastic teacher who will strive to ensure children reach their maximum potential. I am currently teaching in in a school in an EYFS class teaching 4-5year olds.
