I’m Head of Legal at LSEG Markets & I received my Executive MBA at the University of Cambridge. I’m passionate about transformation & implementing innovation to facilitate effective corporate governance. I shine at crisis management in the heavily regulated financial services industry as I’m solution focused & driven to make things better. I’ve been at LSEG for over 15 years and I've navigated complex legal landscapes. The organisation has grown from 1k to 25k+ employees through multiple M & As and organisational change. My love for crisis management, corporate governance & knowledge of the financial market regulations has helped me to steer my team through a pandemic & a clearing default. I’ve adapted my leadership techniques to foster & nurture a high-performing team. I pride myself on my excellent relationships with key stakeholders & clients, providing legal advice through a pragmatic & commercially focused lens. I’ve delivered successful outcomes on strategic regulatory matters & projects. My approach to legal leadership is rooted in three core principles: Embracing Change: I believe that the legal profession, especially in corporate settings, must evolve to meet the challenges of our rapidly changing world. I'm constantly seeking innovative solutions that balance risk management with business agility. My goals are to ensure that our legal frameworks & practices, including corporate governance, promote fairness & inclusivity at all levels of the organisation. Leading to better outcomes. Strategic Transformation: The legal department is not just a support function, it’s a key driver of strategic change for the organisation. By aligning the legal strategy with business objectives, we can unlock new opportunities & drive sustainable growth. Outside of my corporate role, I'm passionate about giving back to the community. My pro bono work at a legal advice centre has given me valuable perspective on the broader impact of legal expertise in society. I qualified as a solicitor & I have spent time on secondment working in Paris, enhancing my professional fluency in French. Looking to the future I'm excited to create a bigger & more direct impact on shaping corporate strategy & culture. I'm also keen to expand my influence in the legal & business community through speaking engagements.
