About Joanne Schembri

With 25 years in business, I have developed a holistic viewpoint and highly practical organisational leadership experience that has centred on finding lean ways to build capability for sustainable growth, problem solving in crisis, and effectively leading major change, restructuring and transitions with utmost people-centricity. This is proven over more than a decade, most recently in operations as Deputy CEO/COO and a critical advisor to the business’ owners for QMV Solutions. Milestones have included building a data-enabled organisation and a mature P&C function, leading rapid performance turnaround, restructuring and repositioning for growth, and ultimately, supporting the company’s acquisition and integration with Novigi. At home in high-change environments, I have developed strength in adaptive and agile leadership, autonomy and rapid decision making and delivery. I also have a unique perspective that understands the full value chain of priorities from Board to operational front line and an ability to connect the performance drivers of people and culture throughout. I have a deep understanding of the financial and operational elements of a client-facing professional services business which has positioned me exceptionally well to effectively deliver meaningful change. On a personal note, I strongly believe you can sense whether a corporate culture is healthy and positive before you fully understand it. As a CPO with significant commercial, operational and change management experience, a key driver of success has been understanding this to drive performance and productivity.
