Background

About Joao Neto

I’m a seasoned tech leader with 25 years of international experience building and scaling SaaS products (B2B & B2C) across Big Tech, startups, and unicorn scale-ups. I bring a deep passion for People, Product, and Technology, and a track record of building high-performing teams in fast-paced, high-stakes environments. My leadership is grounded in trust, purpose, tech excellence, and agile principles. → I bridge Engineering and Business. I’m equally at home deep-diving into tech with engineers or shaping strategy and outcomes with C-level execs.→ I specialize in scaling and efficiency. I’ve designed and led engineering orgs from 0 to 50+ people, fostering the culture, practices, and processes needed for rapid growth, internal efficiency, and high-quality delivery.→ I’ve been building Cloud SaaS for 13+ years, across the entire lifecycle — from product discovery to operations. Architecture, development, testing, monitoring, CI/CD, cloud infra, dev experience, platform, SRE, security, etc. If it touches product or platform, I’ve probably led it (or done it).
