About Jocelin Rocha

My passion for community building and social justice has manifested in my work as an educator. As an educator, I've had the opportunity to grow as a leader and as a communicator. Throughout my career, I have been responsible for leading teams to complete tasks with an upbeat attitude and strong work ethic. Working with young adults, I have learned patience and adaptability. These skills that helped me guide students of all levels towards growth and success. As technology becomes more present in the education world, I have learned to adapt instruction using engaging online tools. My experience working in a classroom has helped me become well rounded. I am able to effectively communicate on all levels within a team setting or independently, able to remain calm in fast and high stress environments, and able to track and use data for further improvement. I have found joy and fulfillment from helping others achieve. Working in the education has made me a strong professional who seeks constant improvement and growth.
