About Jocelyn Boschetti

I graduated from Lincoln Technical Institute with a certificate in Pharmaceutical Technology with a concentration in Intravenous Medication. In my last six months of graduating I interned at The University of St.Lukes Hospital located in Bethlehem PA. During that time I dispensed, calculated, compounded, and transported medications throughout the hospital gaining experience in all fields of the inpatient pharmacy. I was also exposed to the preparation of cytotoxic medications for chemotherapy patients. These past year I have been working for Heartland Pharmacy Of Pennsylvania LLC, as an IV Lab Technician. Heartland is a home infusion pharmacy and the medication provider for most Manor Care facilities throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. As an IV technician I am responsible for data entry for all intravenous and intramuscular medications this includes dosing and calculations as well as patient admissions. I am also USP 797 complaint in Sterile compounding which consists of making irrigations, Total parenteral nutrition bags, Sodium Chloride mini bags, and compounded IV therapy medications. Ultimately my goal as a pharmacy technician is to gain experience in the hospital field focusing on chemotherapy and hazardous drugs. At this time I want to grow further in my field and expand my knowledge and versatility.
