About Jocelyne Carter

An experienced and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from The University of Texas at Arlington. With nearly two decades of specialty practice in various clinical settings, I have developed a strong skill set in treatment, direct patient care, and quality assurance. As a former LVN Clinic Supervisor at University Health, I lead and empowered a team of medical assistants and an LVN for the Women's Health Department, ensuring efficient and effective patient care. I also performed administrative and clinical nursing tasks, conducted annual work quality evaluations, and maintained compliance with Joint Commission standards. Previously, I planned and coordinated the Quality Assurance Program for the FFACTS Clinic, where I implemented and evaluated best practices and policies. I am a certified AIDS Licensed Practical Nurse and have advanced training in CPR/AED and ACLS. I am eager to apply my experience and expertise to contribute to the public health sector and improve health outcomes for diverse populations.
