About Jochen Willemsen

Before starting what can actually be considered my professional career, I have done several things to broaden my horizon like working abroad in London for the chamber of commerce and in the tourist industry in the south of France. All along knowing that I wanted to work with sound and music. After finishing my education in Audio Engineering at SAE Amsterdam, I started to work for a dubbing studio in Hilversum. Working with actors and director on series for Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, Jetix and several movie distributors. After having worked there for several years and gaining a serious amount of experience on recording as well as some directing, I felt it was time to move on and expand my knowledge and try some new challenges. I was given the opportunity to start at U-TRAX Multimedia Localisations, first as a PM on audio. But quite quickly started to expand the audio department handling more and more languages. I became responsible for all audio services that U-TRAX offered, including the music an sfx label I started, called MESS. Having offices and studios in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Portugal and dedicated external teams and partners globally. At the moment I work at Guerrilla Games as a Director.
