About Jock Rutherford

Influenced by my rural upbringing and my increasing understanding of the challenges and impacts of international aid, I now hold a great interest in inclusive programming, food security, rural development and the impact of natural disasters on our communities and environment. I have a strong coordination background, working with multiple stakeholders both domestically and abroad. These advanced communication skills have also been essential in building my management style and team leading abilities. Moving forward in my career, I am to maintain a strong focus on quality programming that leads to tangible and sustainable community outcomes. Preferably working in rural development, disaster management, livelihoods and food security, I have a strong passion in enabling opportunities for change through collaboration and effective resource mobilization.
