About Jodi Clapp

From a young age, I’ve always been excited by numbers. I always was in the top 5% in my math classes at both primary and high school. Having obtained my diploma in the Accounting and Payroll Program at triOS College with a 97% GPA, I still love getting to grips with numbers and complex data to solve problems and support business success. There is no task placed before me either at work or with life in general that I don't give my 100% effort and dedication to. With over 20+ years of experience in accounting, I have built a reputation for enhancing the performance of finance departments. In my role at Goldhawk Machining Inc, I was a one-person office who helped assist with payroll, purchase orders, quoting, invoicing, while managing a range of accounting-related tasks. Being knowledgeable in many areas of administration and accounting permitted me to be flexible and accommodating when it came to the work that needed to be completed. I was able to assume any role within the office that was necessary to the company during my time there. I am a dedicated professional with a passion for Accounting and Payroll. As a Payroll Compliance Practitioner Candidate with the Canadian Payroll Association, I am working towards my certification. When I am not busy working with numbers, you may find me working in the garden or listening to my favorite music. Having secured that diploma that backs up the knowledge and work experience I have accumulated over the last 20 years, I am now eager to secure a role that demands use of the skills gained throughout my career and from my studies.
