About Jodie Steer

I have over 15 years experience in the retail industry working for the Woolworths Group where I have worked in a broad range of roles including a Team Member role in stores, a Payroll and Systems Advisor role in the support office and an Employee Relations Advisor role in the support office. I am currently working as a Project Specialist for Woolworths. In this role I am supporting the implementation of a new workforce management system by analysing the risks and controls and creating process maps to support the every day operation of the system. My role in this project is to interpret all Enterprise Agreements and Awards covering team members across the Woolworths Group and map each entitlement that applies to each instrument to identify any gaps or risks. As part of this role, I engage with numerous stakeholders across the business to understand the processes and the impact of certain changes. From the information collected I then analyse the data to identify opportunities and risks and provide recommendations back to the stakeholders on controls required to achieve compliance and minimise risk.
