About Jody Haddow

Life science and biomedical research experience at multiple institutions from Vancouver Island to Seattle, Yale, Dublin and Abu Dhabi, UAE have provided me with diverse and international experience in many aspects of project management, business development, biologics research and therapeutic drug development. My positions with CROs in Canada and Northern Ireland have allowed me to manage many projects related to the development and commercialization of innovative life science products and services and to work closely with customers and key accounts in pre-sales and post-sales activities, tech transfer, contract negotiation, in- and out-licensing and research outsourcing. As a professor, I have given more than 1500 lectures across 10 different courses in chemistry, biochemistry, proteomics and genomics from 1st to 6th year PhD-level. I have developed and written successful grant proposals in multiple areas including biomedical, bioanalytical- and proteomics-based fields bridging academia with biotechnology. These industry and academic endeavors have also produced a wide-range of collaborative projects including: biosensor and racing camel drug research in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, farmed salmon disease studies and neuro-proteomic analyses in the Pacific NW and African sleeping sickness parasitology at UVic, Trinity college, Dublin and Yale University.
