About Jody Holston

I’m driven by the belief that housing is a human right and that meaningful change happens when communities, policymakers, and funders work together. I currently serve as Executive Director of Front Porch Investments, where we’re building the systems and partnerships needed to close the affordable housing gap across the Omaha metro. Our work blends flexible capital, funding, and housing policy change to support innovative, equitable development. My 15+ years in nonprofit and public service, including leadership roles at Omaha Housing Authority and Heartland Family Service, have centered on expanding access to housing and tackling complex community challenges. From managing public housing portfolios to scaling up homelessness response systems, I’ve led teams through growth, transition, and mission-critical change. I’m passionate about designing solutions that last and ensuring those closest to the problem have power in the solution.
