About Jody Johnson

I started working in the non-profit industry more than a decade ago after leaving the retail industry. Since then I have been involved in the industry performing the following duties: fundraising; volunteer coordination; website design; coordinating IT and fundraising projects; and training staff and volunteers in various software applications. In my current role as the IT Trainer & Project Coordinator I train staff and employees on The Raiser’s Edge, Luminate Online, Sphere, Volunteer Hub and Microsoft Office and other applications. I also assist in process and policy design taking into account data quality and ease of use for the end user. I am passionate for getting users who have never used the applications, gain knowledge and feel comfortable to navigate the applications like a pro. I try to translate the geek speak from the IT department into English for the users.
