We're here to help prepare them for the business world, giving them the tools they need to ensure success in the workplace. The BETC works to connect local employers with youth who have the proper attitude, education, skills and desire to be valuable employees in both year-round and summertime jobs. At the BETC, we can help youth find a part-time job while they focus on their classroom studies. We can also help youth explore a career field they might be interested in. Or we can assist youth in upgrading your basic skills in building the bridge from school-to-work and work-to-career. Finally, we'll help prepare youth for the all important job search and interview process. Our job readiness workshops focus on understanding employer expectations, proper attitude, personal responsibility, communication, teamwork, goal setting and time management.
