About Joe Aherne

During my entire working life, I have always relished my different roles and responsibilities both for the Leading Edge Group and externally with organisations such as CPA Ireland, an organisation which is very close to my heart. I love the thrill of achieving stretch targets and of achieving new goals whether that is expanding into new markets or developing new concepts and ideas for future product generation. One of my career highlights was working with Irish and UK companies at the University of Cambridge International Growth Programme. To work with peer CEO’s and to listen to international business leaders stimulated a desire to continually change and re-invent oneself. I am a great believer in the ability of the individual to achieve wonderful things through simple traits as passion and desire and most importantly of all showing respect and compassion for others.
