About Joe Auger

Straight up? I am 59 years old. In the September of my years. Not a time I wanted to be searching for other work, but here we are. I am a creative at heart, specifically music and audio engineering in studio. I have been in a number of local music and comedy performance acts, one slightly National one, Produced over a hundred albums of music for local and international artists as well as my own solo music and performance. I have been in higher ED for 22 years in a lateral move like many of my fellow creatives who needed a steadier paycheck, health insurance, benefits etc. I have been able to parlay my experience without a College Degree in what from the outside might be deemed a succesful career. All well and good enough but something has to give at this time of my life. Things are not squaring up and I do not just mean financially, though like many, that is part of it. Recent events have made it neccasary to fully open up all options, as much as I was hoping things might be different. The old adage of putting all of ones eggs in one basket comes to mind.
