About Joe Baker

Within Darling Ingredients International, I worked for the Rousselot and the Sonac divisions, as well as at the corporate HQ in Son, NL. The locations I worked at supplied products to pharmaceutical, food, pet food, and technical markets. I held increasing positions as I continually demonstrated my knowledge, adaptability, leadership, and accomplishments. The list of positions include: Production Supervisor, Maintenance Manager, Production Manager, Process Development Manager, Technology Manager, and Plant/Operations Manager. Throughout my career I have improved or brought innovation to many systems and processes. I was regard as an expert in troubleshooting equipment and process issues. I worked to standardize equipment and processes. One think I noticed and took a lot pride in is that I have also brought an alternative view to projects and teams. My unconventional background to most managers and engineers often gives me a different insight to issues or projects. Although I've managed people at different points in my career, my passion and greatest contribution to my company has been process improvement and project design and engineering.
