About Joe Barrow
Currently I am completing a PhD on Micro-Electro-Mechanical-Systems (MEMS) technologies with this focusing on measurments of wall-shear stress in turbulent boundary layes, a measurment that requires both high spatial and temporal resolutions. As part of this EPSRC funded project I have been developing a new collection of sensors for making measurements on the micro-Newton scale. Through this projectI have presented my work at the European Turbulence Conference (ETC18), UK Fluids Conference 2023, and 76th Annual Meeting of the APS Division of Fluid Dynamics (2023).
