About Joe Colombo

I am a Certified Scrum Master with deep experience in the technology field including working for four Fortune 500 companies. I have expertise in Agile, Lean, Scrum, Kanban, and the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). I hold multiple Agile certifications which demonstrate my expertise and commitment to Agile values and principles. My latest successful project was released in 11 states and resulted in over issued auto insurance policies and over in premiums collected. My strengths include successfully implementing agile strategies for globally implemented software applications, mentoring distributed scrum teams, and contributing to the strategic planning of the product team’s efforts. My core competencies include building psychological safety and trust with my teams, compiling and sharing metrics to drive team conversation and continuous improvement, and collaborating with Product Owners to maintain a healthy and robust backlog. I am adept at addressing impediments and resolving conflicts that arise during the course of delivering on a project. I am passionate about staying current with industry standards and have presented at the Agile Open Northwest conference. My mission is to create and sustain Agile values and principles while remaining focused on customer satisfaction.
