I build technology that serves those who serve.For the past 2 years, I've been a Product Manager at Motorola, developing ICCS (Integrated Command and Control Systems) for emergency services across the UK and Europe. Every day, I work to ensure our frontline services have the technology they need to keep communities safe.But my journey here wasn't straightforward.I started my career as a police officer, serving 10 years before making the transition to the private sector. That transition was challenging - not because I lacked skills, but because I didn't know how to translate my police experience into language civilian employers understood.Luckily, I found a start-up that was a great fit and took a chance on me. Since 2019, I've hired hundreds of people across various roles. I've seen brilliant ex-officers struggle to articulate their value. I've watched talented professionals undervalue themselves because they couldn't translate "incident management" into "crisis leadership."This led me to run career transition courses for police officers, helping them understand their transferable skills. But teaching the theory wasn't enough - officers still struggled with the execution of actually writing applications.That's why I founded Status Zero.Status Zero is an AI-powered platform that automatically translates police experience into civilian-friendly CVs. We've mapped 90+ police roles to their civilian equivalents, helping officers understand and articulate their true value in the job market.My mission is simple: No officer should feel trapped in their career. Everyone deserves to know their options.This work became deeply personal when I lost my cousin Steven, a brilliant police officer who felt he had no way out.
