About Joe Culhane

As an advocate for regenerative economics, agriculture and Relational Being, I am passionate about promoting sustainable and regenerative practices that foster connections and collaboration between humans and the rest of nature. With a master's degree in Engaged Ecology from Schumacher College and a background in public speaking, leadership development, and content creation, I am dedicated to educating and raising awareness about the importance of biodiversity and ecosystem function. With a track record of presenting on sustainability and social/climate justice both nationally and internationally, I am well-equipped to take on projects that support ecological and environmental education and awareness. My skillset also includes graphic design, writing, and podcasting, and I have been internationally recognized for my work in these areas. As a facilitator and organizer, I have a passion for creating and supporting educational and artistic events that bring people together to learn and grow. From conferences to workshops, I have 20 years of experience in event planning, coordination, and execution. My goal is to help create meaningful and impactful experiences that leave a lasting impression on attendees and support the growth of the community. Ideally all these projects are rooted in place based ecological mindfulness and care as well. I am excited to collaborate and work on projects that promote a more socially and equitably just reality for all. This includes supporting land and community-based initiatives that foster ecologically connected, reciprocal care with and for our more-than-human companions, communities, and relationships. Through this, we can improve our relationship with the natural world and work towards a more sustainable future. I believe in the interconnectedness of all things and that we are but a part of a constant collaboration between humans and our shared ecologies. I look forward to sharing, celebrating, and illuminating this perspective, as a human brought up in modernity, with ongoing reverence and gratitude for these relationships. It feels as though a lot of my journey has been a rehabilitation and that now it is imperative to support a human/nature integration paradigm for all.
