About Joe Curtis

After finishing my baseball career at Lubbock Christian University in 1990, I returned home and finished my Business Administration degree at University of North Texas (1992). After graduating, I went to work for Henkels & McCoy as a cabling installation specialist and within six months was promoted to project manager. I worked in that capacity for about two years bidding and managing projects. I accepted a position at Sabre Data as a project manager in 1994. Our Dallas, Texas location became the leading sales generator for all their branches. After working for Sabre Data for approximately two years, I decided to open my own cabling infrastructure installation company in 1996. I was self employed for fifteen years. Some of our accomplishments over this time have been installing network infrastructures for the Garland Raytheon site, Data Centers for Aperian at six national sites and designing and installing a network infrastructure for the Santa Fe building in Amarillo, Texas for Potter County. In 2011, I decided to change career paths and started working towards earning my teacher certification. During this time, I earned my Texas Teacher Certification in composite Social Studies, Business Education and Physical Education. I worked in the capacity as a High School World History, Geography and Government teacher, as well as, roles coaching baseball, basketball, football and golf. In September of 2021, I accepted a role with World Wide LanTec as Operations/Special Projects Manager basically coming full circle.
