About Joe Dalton
Big on live music. Obsessed with sound and lighting production. Driven to create incredible events that bring people together. Since I was a teenager I knew my career and passion was going to be centred around music and events. Now as the Entertainment & Events Manager at Royal Holloway Students Union, I manage three venues and lead the delivery of 900+ events and bookings a year. These events range from weekly nightclubs which feature headline talent bookings and immersive decor experiences, to the more sophisticated side of the student experience (if there is one), delivering our annual Summer Ball and multiple award ceremonies, conferences and theatre productions. All these events are driven by a core purpose: to build community and celebrate culture. You will often see me juggling production, planning, health and safety, and 'hands on' event delivery simultaneously, but always putting customer wellbeing and safety first.
