About Joe Dubose

Joe DuBose is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in geological sciences. Prior to joining Capitol Wealth Strategies, Joe had been with Veritat Advisors (now Nestwise) until their recent accquisition by LPL. Joe began his career in investments while a geologist engaged in the development of oil and gas drilling ventures. Joe’s success in high-risk investments resulted directly from the trust he was able to earn from astute industry investors. Later, Joe joined I.D.S-Financial Planners (now AmeriPrise), an American Express company. Years later, Joe joined the mortgage loan industry as a mortgage loan originator and found success target marketing the underserved hispanic community of the Austin area. Joe is a bilingual (Eng./Span.), degreed professional who leverages his multi-industry experience to generate non-traditional approaches in business development. A former Petroleum Geologist, Joe employs a disciplined, explorationist mindset for balancing logic with imagination, risk with potential in identifying new and underserved markets. Passed Series 65-Uniform Investment Advisors Law Exam (March 2012). Previously held Securities 7, 63, and 22 licenses. Possess General Lines- Life, Accident, Health and HMO Insurance license (May, 2013) In addition to the sights and sounds of Austin and the central Texas area, Joe enjoys reading, running, and Mexican food.
