About Joe Eads

I have over 35 years combined experience in multiple environments such as refining, petrochemical, and chemical industries. My first 25 years were spent engaged with major EPC contractors in the United States, then 10 years with major operating companies on international projects and now back to major EPC Contractors in the United States. My major responsibilities have included management of engineering and procurement activities as well as overall construction management of projects. My role in Project Management has included complete management of projects from conception to commissioning and start-up. In this capacity I have provided both direction and leadership to discipline and project personnel, as well as support staff. In Project Management my experience has included project execution, leading of project teams, engineering and design development, constructability, analysis and forecasting of costs, schedule and manpower including development and evaluation of scope definition, bid evaluation, budget development and contracting strategies. My role in Construction Management has included supervision of both direct hire and subcontract management. In Construction Management my experience has included field engineering, supervision of subcontractors and direct hire and union employees, design development, construction surveying, subcontract management, vendor coordination, analyzing, forecasting and tracking of costs, progress, schedule and manpower.
