About Joe Goble

FAO: Recruiters, I am not currently seeking new opportunities] I completed my BA Hons in Philosophy with the University of Kent in 2018. I then subsequently undertook an MA in Social Work with the University of East London in partnership with the Tavistock and Portman Centre in 2023. During both academic pursuits, I was particularly interested in exploring issues of ethics, diversity and empowerment of marginalised groups. The two years I spent in Children’s Service’s during my MA only strengthened my belief in the role non-statutory social work can play in creating greater social equity. Through my position at ELHAP, I am motivated to provide a model of social work provision that is relationship-based, family focused and rooted in holistic provision. Having begun my involvement with ELHAP as a volunteer at the age of 16, the ethos of adventure play have underpinned my professional values throughout my career. The ideas of child-led spaces and freedom of expression for young people have naturally heavily intersected with my social work practice. If you would like to learn about what services are available at ELHAP, please do not hesitate to reach out.
