About Joe Grocott

I'm a very outgoing individual whom seeks and thrives for new challenges. I graduated from Bournemouth University with a first class bachelor of science degree in Games Technology, the course taught a wide range of skills that can be applied within the Interactive Technology Industry. During my time at university I spent a year on placement as a Visual Database Engineer for CAE, based within their Military Simulation and Training Sector. It is my fascination in understanding how we can use video game technology for practical implications that has propelled me down this path. I have a desire to work on and develop simulators and as an ambitious person I like to set myself high goals that I can aspire to achieve. Therefore I have an end goal of working within the space industry and helping the movement of putting man on Mars using technology that has arisen from video games. This aspiration has been fuelled by conversations that I have held with space engineers and astronauts whilst visiting the Houston and Kennedy Space centres on a scholarship.
