About Joe Guggia

I've been in the floral industry for over 45 years, with 32 years of entrepreneurial retail experience owning Camfeldt's Flowers and Design. I was inducted into AIFD (The American Institute of Floral Designers) in 1996, and placed in Southern California Floral Association's "Top Ten" design competition of that year. During these years my experience has grown and developed into a resume that covers many facets of the floral industry: tropical foliage grower at Sandyland Nursery (Caprinteria, Ca.) wholesale, landscaping, interior/exterior staging and consulting, stage floral designing, floral education and publication, expertise in creating custom permanent designs and plant decor. The design world is constantly evolving, and my personal challenge is to continue to evolve with it while sharing my knowledge with those that want to grow and really add visual and personal value to the world. Specialties: All phases of fresh floral and permanent designs, interior/exterior foliage experience, tropical plant growing, interior/exterior staging, retail sales display, furniture/accessories selection. My home studio, JP Designs Floral is where I create daily designs for clients across the globe.
