Experienced IT professional that has grown through all phases of the SDLC from requirements gathering through development, build, test, release and maintenance. This experience has let me see the pain points of each phase of the SDLC and that is why I naturally gravitated into the Development Operations (aka DevOps) space. DevOps is an exciting space for software development with huge upside potential when the pain points are addressed with both tooling and processes/procedures to bring a higher standard of consistency, reliability, and efficiency to help both the business, development, and infrastructure support side of the application landscape. I firmly believe in solutions that keep developers moving fast and directly focusing their expertise on strategic value add for the business. Providing platforms and tool-sets that keeps the effort spent on accelerating the speed and quality of delivery on business value.
