About Joe Lombardo

I am currently working as Surgical Technologist II with Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI and love what I do. I have been a part of the General Surgery Team scrubbing surgical procedures throughout general surgery, colon/rectal, bariatric, DaVinci robotic surgery and often scrub procedures in trauma, acute care, critical care and plastic surgery. I have over 8 years experience scrubbing all surgical services with the exception of heart and transplant services with Detroit Medical Center, Henry Ford Hospital and U.S. Navy both in Naval Hospitals stateside and abroad at military hospitals while being deployed. I have a devote passions for my second career which has been in Military and Law Enforcement totally over 23 years. My advanced degree is in CJ/Law Enforcement has had an amazing impact on my military and police career. I have most recently completed Combat Readiness training for a current deployment with the Navy and also keep my police skills current with the Ferndale Police Department located in SE Oakland County in Metro Detroit.
