I’m a senior data partner at Barclays with over 22 years’ experience turning complex data, technology, and regulatory challenges into practical, scalable outcomes.For much of my career, I’ve worked at the intersection of data modelling, customer journeys, engineering, and governance—helping teams make sense of fragmented systems, ambiguous requirements, and competing priorities. I’m known for translating complexity into clarity, whether that’s shaping enterprise‑wide conceptual and logical data models, building trusted data products, or mapping end‑to‑end customer journeys across multiple platforms into a single, coherent view.Over the last decade, I’ve led and evolved large data domains across Barclays UK, with a strong focus on data modelling as a strategic enabler. This includes defining shared semantics, canonical models, and logical structures that support consistent interpretation, reuse, and regulatory confidence. Working closely with Product, Engineering, Architecture, Risk, and Controls teams, I’ve helped strengthen lineage, metadata, and audit transparency, while enabling modern, cloud‑based delivery in Snowflake. One highlight was successfully deploying the Digital Error Summary BDP, the first of its kind in the Channel domain—establishing a governed, reusable data foundation that supports both insight and control.I enjoy staying close to the detail while keeping a strong strategic lens. I’m comfortable guiding conceptual and logical modelling, influencing physical design decisions, and helping teams balance performance, scalability, and control in real‑world implementations. Just as importantly, I value strong relationships—listening, influencing, and helping people align around a common goal.As a VP, I care deeply about how we deliver as much as what we deliver.
