Skilled in computer repair, teaching, entrepreneurship, team building, and networking. Now managing the Goodwill LIFT program, in which we teach CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+ and CySA+ classes for Goodwill. I began my computer career in 1985, in Houston, working on/building IBM, Compaq and "clone" computers. I owned my own computer store from 1987 to 2022. I began by building and selling clones, until Gateway and Dell came along and crashed the party. I then went into service, mainly installing Novell networks, until Windows NT came and crashed that party. I learned NT then, and HTML when the Internet came along. I moved to Colorado in 2001, and ran my store, Emergency Computer Service, until 2022. In early 2019, I took the Security+ training at Goodwill/LIFT in Colorado Springs, and now I am managing the program, teaching that course, as mentioned above, along with CySA+, Network+ and A+.
