About Joe Pohl

I am an experienced executive leader and business attorney, highlighted by my role as the Chief Executive Officer of PharmBlue LLC, a privately held specialty pharmacy business that operated across the United States, which culminated with the company’s successful sale in a private equity transaction. With a demonstrated ability to thrive in heavily regulated, fast-paced, high-growth environments, I am process-oriented and possess the ability to make timely decisions. As a leader, I strive to foster an honest, ethical, positive and engaged workplace that values the way in which results are achieved as much as the results themselves. During my tenure at PharmBlue, we provided a return to investors of approximately 13x their invested capital and achieved company milestones in terms of revenue, EBITDA, number of customers, customer retention and prescriptions filled. Most importantly, we partnered with client healthcare and social service providers to bring compassionate care to patients with chronic conditions, making meaningful, positive impacts on the lives of many people. Prior to being named the CEO, I served as PharmBlue’s General Counsel, managing all legal matters involving the company. I also worked closely with the founder/CEO and other senior leaders at the company to develop and execute on initiatives for our business. Before joining PharmBlue, I spent 19 years in private law firm practice. For the majority of this time, I worked as a litigator, but my core function was to serve as a trusted advisor and problem solver for my clients. I continue to possess an active license to practice law in Pennsylvania, and maintain a strong, nationwide network of legal and professional service providers.
