Over 25 years’ experience working in the South Canterbury region that includes currently working as an Emergency Management Advisor for the Mackenzie District Council and previously a Senior Constable in the NZ Police. I have a broad background in policing and community leadership roles as a central member of multi-agency teams and response units. Proven operational leadership, project management and professional logistics experience. As the founder and chairman of the Mackenzie Search and Rescue Trust, I led a team of volunteers in fundraising to build a SAR/Community base facility on land leased by the NZ Police.
