WHAT I DO: Caterpillar equipment and solutions are used every day throughout the world. I understand and consider the entire value chain, am detail oriented, and look at problems from all perspectives.HOW I MAKE A DIFFERENCE: With a strategic and practical mindset, I develop holistic engineering and operations solutions that add significant value to multiple functional areas. To date, I have led multimillion-dollar investments in production and assembly operations, warehousing, new product introduction, supply chain management, and facility improvements. Most notably, I designed the layout and flow plans for a brownfield manufacturing site, developed automated warehouse layout and solutions, and updated assembly layouts to strategically align.WHAT I HAVE ACHIEVED: Throughout my time at Caterpillar, I have executed dozens of capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives leveraging Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and Caterpillar Production System principles. Under my guidance, we implemented smart improvements and innovations that enhanced our manufacturing operation’s safety, efficiency, productivity, quality, financial performance, production capacity.Developed Warehouse Layout and Automation Business Case- Engineered proactive end-to-end strategy to develop an on-site warehouse layout, automation strategy and Logistics MGPP. Developed Building Layout for Brownfield Manufacturing Site– Strategic development of a fabrication manufacturing layout. Led development of the manufacturing layout in conjunction with end-to-end material flow plans, including sourcing strategy alignment. Developed campus flow plans enabling safety, productivity and efficiency.Transformed NPI Manufacturing Strategy–Leveraging value stream mapping and transformation methodology, developed the Sanford facility’s new product introduction (NPI) manufacturing strategy to optimize material flow in conjunction with manufacturing plans. Secured $500K in Cost Avoidance–Proactively designed a flexible, scalable, and predictive variable labor calculator to optimize labor utilization for the entire logistics operation. Designed and validate the tool with key stakeholders. The calculator is the basis for predictive analysis and continuous improvement.
