Communicates appropriate information to inspectors and government authorities.Passionately practices safety. Ensures safe working environment. Conducts on-site inspections, training ( safety tool-box topics), and document reports.Ensure work is completed correctly the first time (prevents rework).Maintains professionalism (organized, maintained, and clean appearance of crew, equipment, job-site/work area). Ensures that all equipment and materials are staged in an orderly fashion at designated locations when finished with the work each day. Learn and execute the scope of work within budget. Keeps the crew productive. Sets challenging yet achievable production goals that will beat the estimate schedule. Tracks the labor budget. Knows how the crew is performing compared to the budget on a daily and weekly basis.Motivates and inspires crews. Personally knows and cares for the individual crew members working for them. Recognizes and appreciates the efforts and skills of each crew member.Supervises laborer and operating training and reports progress.Administers paperwork and reports in an accurate and timely manner. Completes & submits material slips with job and material numbers.Advises General Superintendent and/or Superintendent of potential problems, work interferences, schedule difficulties, adapts to the job site, etc. Assists in circumventing and/or resolving such problems as required.Performs other duties as assigned by the General Superintendent or Superintendent.
