Partner, Business Advisory and Assurance - Not for Profit (NFP), Business Performance Improvement, Audits, Compliance I have worked in the accounting profession for over 30 years within a range of large and mid-sized accounting firms, specialising in the provision of audit and assurance services. As Partner, Business Advisory and Assurance for Pitcher Partners Sydney, I lead the delivery of audit services to major Australian organisations, including ASX 100 listed entities, APRA regulated superannuation funds and Not for Profits (NFPs). I also work with Boards and Audit and Risk Committees to address the financial needs of their stakeholders and frequently undertake specialist advisory assignments to assist with financial and strategic management challenges. As a Board and Audit Committee member myself, I have a deep understanding of the associated environment. I lead Pitcher Partners Sydney’s specialist services to the Not for Profit and religious sectors, working closely with a wide range of entities within these areas including significant organisations involved in the provision of education, health, welfare, aged care and support services. As well as advising NFPs on assurance and financial management issues, I am committed to influencing advancement in their financial governance. I am deeply involved with the associated regulatory reform agenda in Australia and have appeared as an expert witness at a number of the related Parliamentary Inquiries.
