About Joe Sharp

With 15 years' experience delivering business and IT change across multiple industries, I have developed a strong set of skills and competencies in managing complex transformation programs, redesigning and improving business processes, and delivering truly exciting software and system solutions. I have worked closely with a wide range of stakeholders, from senior leaders to third party suppliers and external clients, to deliver solutions that meet their needs and expectations, and that align with the strategic goals and vision of the organisation. Most recently, I was responsible for refactoring and owning the program test defect management process for the delivery of a Guidewire 10 upgrade program at Admiral Group, one of the largest car insurance providers in the UK. I embedded a reimagined daily defect triage model, focused on prioritizing business critical outcomes, and drove troubleshooting cross-functional workshops to resolve potentially program-impacting defects. I also ensured successful delivery of the program by driving transparent defect reporting across multiple IT development and quality assurance teams. This experience demonstrated my ability to lead and collaborate effectively, to optimize and streamline workflows, and to ensure quality and performance standards are met.
