About Joe Sweeney

When I started my journey at Illinois State University, I was unsure about a career path. That was until I took my first marketing class. After a few weeks I knew that I wanted to pursue a career in marketing and now I am excited to join the workforce. During my time at ISU, I have had the pleasure of creating marketing campaigns for MetroNet and Epiphany Farms Hospitality Group. These campaigns took several weeks and numerous hours of collaboration with classmates. Everything from developing exciting looking creatives to providing future recommendations needed to be done. I also joined an organization on campus, Innovative Community Consulting, which had me conduct market research and analysis for Naperville Central High School's extracurricular program, Illinois Global Scholar. My time at Illinois State University has exposed me to many sides of marketing. From digital marketing focusing on SEO, SEM, analytics reports, and email campaign creation to developing fundamental skills across Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. My dream career path would be one focusing on the promotion of movies, TV shows, technology, or video games. If you are someone I know or someone who would like to get to know me, please be sure to connect with me!
