About Joe Sysko
I began my career in the Air Force in 2008 as a Finance officer. I have taken online/night classes during my time in the active duty AF, earning my MBA and SDRM (Strategic Decision and Risk Management certification) at Stanford University. I was also one of two Financial Managers selected for the 2017 AF Education with Industry fellowship, where I worked at Loews Hotels and Resorts at Universal Orlando doing corporate budgets, project management, and business intelligence. Within my career as a financial manager, I have found a passion and developed many skills in process improvement/automation and data analytics. As such I have developed and implemented a number of capabilities and solutions from databases to Tableau and Power BI dashboards for both analysts and senior leaders. In Oct ‘23 I transitioned to the corporate world and have been providing top corporate and government leadership with data analytics, visualizations, and decision support. Looking to continue to grow my skills and increasingly help organizations fully utilize the capabilities of their existing data sets.
