About Joe Washam

I am a passionate and skilled leader who strives to create positive social change and empower communities. I am a combat wounded veteran and civic advocate with more than a decade of experience in education policy, grassroots campaigns, and government relations. I have advised national nonprofits, led multimillion dollar school bond initiatives, and managed voter engagement across five election cycles. I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Public Leadership from the University of San Francisco and I leverage my background in research, political consulting, and stakeholder engagement to help organizations achieve their goals and make a lasting impact. My service includes federal advocacy with veteran nonprofits, membership on the Dallas Mavericks Advisory Council, and volunteer leadership roles in Northwest ISD. My work is guided by a commitment to building stronger schools and more resilient communities.
